Superior Buttons

Hello fellow stampers and crafters. This is my second card made from the sewing paper and die cuts from Make Time to Create, Newburgh, IN.  This paper is so versatile and fun. The little paper button in the bottom corner looks real at a glance and I remember the Superior Buttons products from the old days. I really enjoyed this paper and die cuts. I hope you take a look at the paper I used at Make Time to Create, there are patterns on both sides of the paper which makes the crafting double the fun. Below are the products used. Have a Superior Day!

9-11 crop

Two Fridays ago Mary and Dolly hosted an all day crop at Make Time To Create. It was really a good time to settle in a warm atmosphere and make pages or cards all day and all night. WOW it was fun. It seems short just doin it for a few hours and this day gave you time to think and design something special. I like it because the other ladies will help if your stuck or give suggestions if needed. Many will provide inspiration or even products to use. Mary on the left above and Dolly on the right had two beautiful pages to make along with food and prizes for that day. I made my first pages for my daughter's gymnastic album and several cards. Check out Make Time to Create's Calendar for upcoming events to scrap, make cards etc...

Below is one of the cards I created.
This card reminds be of my mom. She is a master quilter and loves to quilt. She has done it now for many years and everything she makes is awesome. I will have to take some pictures of her latest quilts.
Back to the card. There are several papers you can choose from to make cards with a sewing theme plus they have a die cut sheet that goes with them with really neat sayings and shapes to complete your card or page you may be creating. The wooden buttons are so authentic they jump off the card. Luv them. So many options with this paper. This paper makes me want to SEW!

Christmas Sparkle

Today's card is something that was really fun and easy and has my favorite thing - sparkle! It was so easy, nothing was stamped on it besides the sentiment on the inside. I had a flash back when I seen this card finished of when I was little and waiting for Santa to come and visit. I think you will also.

I wanted to show a close-up of the sparkle on the Seasons Greetings and the red on the card and ribbon. It really looks snowy and there isn't ever to many sparkles in my opinion. Hope your day sparkles!

Vintage Christmas

Hello all. This card was really fun to make. I used a new item at Mary & Dolly's Shop - Make Time to Create. It is a Snow Writer from Deco Art.  It is awesome. It is just like it sounds. You squeeze out the snow and write or draw with it and it immediately puffs up. It takes a very short time to dry. I really liked it. It wasn't messy and it was easy to use. I even put some ink on it to age it and it didn't bother it a bit. It comes out really white. The image is from the ATC Christmas Collection. I love this little booklet of images. It has many different things to pick from and makes your card look great without much effort. The paper collection at Make Time To Create is really nice. So many things to pick from. I hope this card inspires you to try something new and Make Time to Create!

Items Used: Lost & Found Santa Paper, Stella Rose - Hazel Paper, ATC Collection Booklet - Christmas, Crochet Lace, Snow Writer (Deco Art), Red Stickles.

A Christmas Wish

Today I created my blogspot. I have been invited to be on the Design Team for Make Time To Create in Newburgh, IN. I am so excited and couldn't wait to create my blogspot and start posting.  Dolly and Mary from Make Time to Create hosted a Black Friday Crop at their shop and it was great. Plenty of food, fellowship and fun. This is one of the cards I created with the papers they sell in their shop. I also love making an envelop to match the card to give the receiver a little sneek peek of whats inside. Every couple of days or so I will be posting a new card for you to see. Below are the items I used from Make Time To Create to make this card. Check Back With Me Later!
